So sorry for the "Missing in Action"... Happy Chinese New Year and gong xi fa cai... Happy V day to my girl. There are many things I want to say but I will try to make it as short as possible...
Chinese New Year...
I wonder if it is me growing older and started to lose the interest in celebrating Chinese New Year. Or maybe stress from schoolwork, afterall last year performed not very good. Home visiting has reduced which means "ang bao", red packets go down... Sad case. Some things never change. 1st day of new year morning, my parents and I went to temple pray pray. Then went to my grandparents' place at geylang. Had lunch there and then headed to my Second-grandaunt which is my grandfather's sister's place. Sit awhile and left coz my parents don't feel like staying there too long. Long story for the reason. Then we go to my mum's parents aka my grandparent (haha) place at choa chu kang. Long journey. Far far. I would say it is the 1st time this year I sat in my father's car, not the taxi. Sadly it was changed to a weekend car due the amount of usage, so cut cost. So at my grandparent's place had dinner then we went to my uncle place, next block. After an hour or two, head back home.
Day 2 my parents working, so i at home slack... Haha
Day 3, I went to my gf 's home for home visiting. A bit crowded. Most sad thing happen in the year of Rat is my gf's nephew and niece called me "Uncle" and "Ah Pek"... NNNOOOO!!!! Sob sob. Had streamboat for lunch and dinner. Yummy. After dinner, her family and I went to another her relative place. My gf is keen in blackjack so I accompany her, sitting beside and be her lucky star. Quite lucky actually. So I am her lucky star... :)
Day 4, My family had dim sum at Yan Palace. Then my mother's side family came to my place for home visiting. For me, after the dim sum I went to fetch my gf to my place too. My gf had dim sum too but at Red Star. At my place, my youngest cousin 1st comment is "who can speak japanese?", haha which is my gf la... Then blackjack... Then dinner... Then go home coz the following day, everyone is working and schooling.
V day...
Spend with my love one. So sorry that I bought a stalk of rose for you. We met at Central shopping centre. Dinner was nice at Waraku but it was pack with people. The manager was fierce with his staff, I felt sorry for them. The funny thing about their promotion is a must to order a v day special set meal. 2 people dinning, at least one must order, if 6 people dinning, at least 3 people must order the set meal. OMG!!! But I guess it is just V day. After dinner we had ice cream from Azabu Sabo. Nice nice. So we sit by the river, enjoying the breeze and ice cream. But both of us are very scare of falling into the singapore river... Haha... So cute of us. After that, we went to kino see see. I try to make it up to her and bought her a super cute hippo cup and a super cute hippo snowglobe. Then send my girl safely home.
Today went to a temple at Loyang. It is a famous temple. Super crowded. Everyone is praying for a good year to come and of coz strike lottery. But I pray for peace and happiness for my family and my girl. My cousins study hard and do well this year...
I guess this is one of the longest entry I ever wrote. Hope I didn't make you feel bored... Hope to write more soon... Happy New year Gong Xi Fai Cai!!!
